On Saturday, January 27 Region 15 hosted Quartet Day 2024: Ramp Up to Regional. This was a new one-day event for quartets to help prepare for regional competition and/or polish their vocal and performing skills.
We gathered in person in HoHoKus, New Jersey for a day of coaching, sharing, and performing. Seven full quartets participated, as well as several partial quartets, and single singers too! (Attendees did not need to be in a competing quartet -- nor in a quartet at all -- to participate. All were welcome.) Each complete attending quartet received at least one hour of coaching (under glass for the benefit of everyone) by a regional faculty member, to support and supply helpful information for wherever each quartet is on their journey. Quartets then had the opportunity to perform at the end of the day.
This was an interactive, educational, and FUN day – building our quartet skills and quartet community!
