Changes at Harmony Celebration
Our director, Scott Brannon, has made the difficult decision to resign. Scott came to us fifteen years ago as our chorus made the transition from Ramapo Valley to Harmony Celebration, following in the footsteps of Renee Craig. Not many people could have done that, but Scott is a fine musician and director. His talent and showmanship were the perfect match for our chorus as we created a new identity and future. During his tenure with us, we competed at International six times.

Harmony Celebration Installs New Management Team

On May 8, Harmony Celebration installed its new Management Team for 2019-2020.  The evening’s festivities were led by emcees Julia Bacal and Stephanie Robinson.  Joining the team as our new TC is Diane Sussuma, Janet Cebula and Peggy Bastone are the new Membership Coordinator co-chairs and Julie Enriquez and Karen Kumpf are the new Co-Financial Coordinators.  They join Grace Barreto, Events Coordinator, Emily Kaplan, Marketing Coordinator and Susie Goldberg, Communications Coordinator.

Summer Sizzling Series

Harmony Celebration Chorus is hosting "Summer Sizzling Series", free vocal workshops for women to be held at the chorus rehearsal facility, Temple Israel, 475 Grove Street, Ridgewood, NJ.  On three Wednesday evenings, Aug 9, 16, and 23, all level of singers are invited to attend classes with certified director and coach, Kat Britt of Warren and Sharon Vitkofsky of Wood Ridge.  The evening will feature vocal classes beginning at 7PM after which guests are then invited to observe the chorus rehearsal, followed by activity with the chorus and a social time with refreshments.  Harmony Celebrati

Harmony Celebration perform at Holiday Party!!

Thanks to the Livingston Womans group for inviting us back for the 4th year now to perform for their Holiday Christmas Party. It is always a fun performance for us. These lovely ladies are so welcoming and truly enjoy our visit each year!!

Playing the Wildcard in Vegas

As I write this, just 9 regular rehearsals, 2 sendoffs, and 2 coaching sessions stand between HCC and our semifinals appearance in Las Vegas as your Wildcard Chorus Competitor. We can’t wait to hit that stage! We’re also SOOO excited Region 15 will have three chorus representatives there in 2017. Way to go, Greater Nassau, Spirit of Syracuse and Evergreen! HCC is making the most of every moment together, including our first-ever joint rehearsal with frequent Top 10 chorus AND reigning Region 15 champs GNC.
