On August 28, baritone Diane Buschel and the Golden Apple Chorus were honored to receive the SPIRIT OF COMMUNITY award from Support Connection, a local not-for-profit organization that provides emotional, social and educational support to people affected by breast and ovarian cancer. The event was a virtual celebration and annual benefit to help fund the free counseling services that Support Connection provides. Diane and Golden Apple have performed at many of Support Connection’s events, including singing at the annual Support-A-Walk for the last 20 years! As part of the virtual program, GAC performed a parody that was a tribute to Support Connection’s 25th anniversary, lead by our talented director, Dr. Anastasio Rossi.
