Welcome to Twin County Chorus

Twin County Chorus, a group of about forty talented singers, rehearses on Thursday nights in Levittown, NY. We sing, we laugh, and we enjoy being with good friends. Come hear our sound, and you'll be hooked. Call or text Bobbi at (516)983-2128 for more information. This fall, in addition to our fun-filled weekly rehearsals with Director, Christine Krowles, we will have a coaching session with Vickie Maybury, one of the best coaches around. We prepared and ran our fall fundraiser, called Pasta, Prizes, and Song, where we enjoyed food and sang for our friends and family.

In Memoriam: Tina Ackerman

With sorrow, Twin County Chorus sends condolences to the family and friends of Tina Ackerman, who passed away suddenly on October 28. She was a treasured member of our chorus for about a year. In that short time, she became a friend to all of us. We will remember her for her pretty voice, her warmth, and her upbeat positive nature. She was a kind, talented, lovely lady we will greatly miss.

In Memoriam: Marilyn Vokoun

With deep sadness, Twin County Chorus sends condolences to the family and friends of Marilyn Vokoun, who passed away on August 28, 2019. She was a much loved, cherished member of our chorus, who generously shared her time and many talents. Always happy to help, Marilyn was our Ways and Means Chair, and served on our Management Team for six years. She amazed us all with her analysis and organizational abilities, and incredible attention to detail. During her eleven years with the chorus, she was known for her lovely bass voice, her generosity, her humor, and her devoted friendship.

Great Coaching Session with Katie Blackwood

Twin County Chorus enjoyed a full-day coaching session this past Saturday, March 3, with Katie Blackwood, a Regional Faculty/Coach. Katie certainly has a way of lighting up the room with her enthusiasm and excitement. We learned, we sang, we laughed. What a great day! Check us out on Facebook!

In Memoriam - Ursula Hudson

With great sadness, Twin County Chorus sends condolences to the friends and family of Ursula Hudson, who passed away on February 13. We will all miss her dearly. Ursula was a very special lady, whom everyone loved the moment they met her. She was funny, talented, generous, and kind to everyone, most especially to new members of the chorus.
