Twin County Chorus has been very busy this summer, with activities that took many of us beyond our Thursday rehearsals. Our ten members who went to Ireland in June with the Harmony Travel Chorus, a traveling chorus of SAI members, had a blast; sightseeing, singing, and building friendships every day. We’ve been learning new songs, and getting our ideas together for our fall fundraiser. Several prospective members checked us out during our membership drive in July, with some expected to audition soon. The highlight of our summer has been the recent participation of 12 TC members at the International Educational Symposium at the University of Maryland, sponsored by Sweet Adelines International. Everyone took classes with the best instructors and coaches around. Ours was one of the teams chosen to play in the Harmony Games, which were great fun!
