Capitaland Chorus is excited to announce that Sue Koppenhaver is our new Director! We look forward to new adventures, accomplishments, and of course, barbershop chords!!! Congratulations, Sue!
Capitaland Chorus would like to congratulate Carol Stearns on being voted Woman of Note 2018!
Carol is an amazing woman and has proven her dedication and commitment to Capitaland repeatedly over the years. Not only has she been Secretary to our Board and Management Team, but she has taken on other responsibilites to insure the success of the chorus. For example, she has assisted with our shows by collecting program ads and working on raffle baskets. Carol also welcomes prospective members with a great smile when she fills in for our Membership Chair during the winter months.
Capitaland Chorus is proud to announce that Megan Scolaro is our Woman of Note 2017! Capitaland Chorus is extremely fortunate to have such a talented musical leader such as Megan. Whether she is conducting physical or vocal warmups, her enthusiasm and support inspire us all to do our very best as singers. As baritone section leader, she handled her responsibilities in the same giving, friendly way. We can count on Megan to hear and comment on the accuracy of pitch and our singing, and we often rely on her suggestions and comments for improvement.
