For 2023 there is only one mandate, which is for members to complete a COVID self-test and report those results to CCLs within 24-48 hours of their arrival at the convention. Specifically:
2023 Required Chorus/Quartet and Chapter at Large members (competing but not covered by a Chorus COVID Event Protocols) :
* Each Chorus CCL or Chapter at Large will need to email a confirmation that you have received/or taken negative rapid test (home test) results for all Chorus/Quartet or CAL 24 to 48 hours prior to arrival.
* Each Chorus CCL or Chapter at Large will email to Gretchen Danby, at [email protected] - Be sure to include your chorus name or that you are Chapter At Large in the message. You only need to confirm that you have seen negative rapid test results for all attendees. You do not need to send photos of test results. You can email or text Gretchen at 516-281-5142 if you have any questions about this process.
Important - If someone other than the CCL will be handling this process for your chorus, CCL to share this information immediately, and copy Gretchen.
Masking at this event, while encouraged, is not mandatory. And as always, protocols are subject to change with the environment as we strive to keep everyone as safe as possible.
