Taglines

I'm pleased to announce an exciting redesign of Taglines, under the direction of our enthusiastic new Editor, Loretta Peskin, of Greater Nassau Chorus. The redesign marks a move away from this e-mail format: We will now post a PDF document publicly on the Region website that can be downloaded and easily printed by all members. The May issue is at this link. 

If you have any problems with the download or the format, please e-mail Loretta.

The new format will allow for more a more creative layout and additional digital photo capability. 

By popular request, the redesign marks the return of our regional chorus gossip/news section, called "Around the Region." Loretta has also managed to contact a few of our many quartets to share their "Quartet News."

In our Spring issue, you'll find all sorts of exciting information including:

     A wrap-up of the Region 15 contest results.

     The return of "Around the Region."

     Information about how to nominate someone for the new "Harriette Walters Leadership Award," which was announced at this year's contest.  

     And, bios for two 2009 Region 15 Women of Note. 

Chapter Leaders, please make sure Taglines is distributed to ALL your members -- print it for those who can't visit the web site -- and encourage them to read every word. I think you'll agree that Loretta has done a fabulous job with this first issue!

To make sure that you receive future Taglines alerts, please make sure you add her email, loretta@sairegion15.org, to your address book. Please encourage anyone in your chapter who has NOT received this email to contact Loretta to be added to our distribution list. And start thinking now about your contributions for the Fall issue, which will be due Sept. 4, 2010.
